God’s Work. Our Hands.

God's Work. Our Hands.

Mark your calendars for “God’s work. Our hands” Weekend of Service on September 8 & 9, 2018!  Last year on this annual weekend of service, over 350 people from the POP community of all ages and abilities served at 25 different service locations across Greater Cincinnati, to live & love like Jesus.

Watch for online sign-ups here in Mid-August!

Each weekend after Labor Day, Prince of Peace joins thousands of other congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America to gather together for “God’s work. Our hands.” weekend of service.

This weekend is an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America – one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor.

Service activities offer an opportunity for us to explore one of our most basic convictions as Lutherans: that all of life in Jesus Christ – every act of service, in every daily calling, in every corner of life – flows freely from a living, daring confidence in God’s grace.

Whether we fill backpacks with needed school supplies, package food for those who are food insecure or write letters to soldiers and veterans, we are using our hands to do God’s work to reconcile and restore communities in Jesus’ name throughout the world.

Join us to be part of “God’s work. Our hands” on this annual weekend of service, and to live every day living & loving like Jesus. People are needed to help us plan for 2018 “God’s work. Our hands.” weekend of service. Please contact:
