|Recurring Event (See all)

One event on March 4, 2018 at 9:45am

Every year, we raise money for Habitat for Humanity by selling quarts of homemade soup on Super Bowl Sunday weekend. We had to reschedule this event this year, but will have tasty soups ready for sale the weekend of March 3 and 4! Cooks, sellers, and buyers are needed to support this 20 year+ ministry of supporting Habitat for Humanity through our soup sale. Sign up on the board or contact Jerry Draeger to volunteer. Interested in cooking soup? Have a slower cooker? Nearly all the ingredients are provided through a Thrivent Action Team grant. Ingredients will be disbursed on Feb 24/25. Cooks bring the soup quarts back to POP by March 3. Interested in helping to sell the soup? Volunteers are asked to sign up to help sell the soup after worship the weekend of March 3 and 4. This is a great way for families of all ages to serve together! Hungry? Bring cash or check to POP the weekend of March 3 and 4 to purchase soup quarts after worship. Please sign up on the bulletin board or call Jerry Draeger at 677-3730.

Sunday School

March 4 at 10:00 am - 10:45 am
|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 10:00am on Sunday, repeating until May 20, 2018

Sunday School is a ministry for all children at Prince of Peace.  Kids are divided into age-level classes led by volunteer leaders from the Kids Team.  These volunteers share the love of God through passing on stories from Scripture tied to what is happening in worship.  We value families worshiping together, so this faith formation time happens from 10:00 am-10:45 am. For more information on your child(ren)'s classroom, teacher, or anything else you'd like to know, please check out our Sunday School page. All families are asked to complete a form at the beginning of each school year for all of our youth and children’s ministries, including Sunday School and POP456. You can fill out the form in the Gathering Space on the computers or at home online at www.popluther.org/child-youth-information-form. You are always welcome - whether you make it once a month, once a week, or once in a while.  We are glad you're here!
