Hueston Woods Lodge
Have you ever felt weary?
Like you need to rest in God's presence, but can't seem to find the time?
Join us as we take some time away from our regular routine to sit in God's presence and be restored.
We are excited to invite you and announce the details of our upcoming overnight retreat for women. We gather together to revitalize and restore our minds, bodies, and spirits in the fellowship of others who worship and love God, to learn how to live and love like Jesus, and to work together to restore our world with grace and peace.
Throughout the weekend, Pastor Michelle Terry will lead worship, teaching, and small group opportunities. She brings us new energy and focus to look inside ourselves as well as our community of disciples who are seeking restoration. We’ll have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions, hiking, and relaxing together. We are meeting at the Hueston Woods Lodge which offers us conference space and hotel accommodations in a cozy lodge atmosphere on the banks of Acton Lake and surrounded by hiking trails.
There are two steps to register for the weekend:
Register for the weekend retreat. (Join us after dinner on Friday through Saturday at 4:00 pm or come when you can throughout the weekend. The cost of the retreat (program and meals) is $60 for the whole weekend or Saturday during the day, or $15 for Friday evening only.
Reserve your lodging with Hueston Woods directly. We have a block of rooms reserved (limited availability). The cost of these double rooms (2 queen beds) is $152 + tax per night. Information about how to reserve a room and roommates is below.
Lodging information
Hotel Accommodations: The lodge has set aside a block of double rooms with two queen beds at a special rate of ($152 + tax per night) for our use on Friday night. You may extend your stay if you choose to spend the entire weekend with friends or family at this rate. Call the reservation line at 513-664-3500 to reserve a room under the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church block. You are responsible for direct payment to the lodge for your stay.
The rooms are designed to be shared and if you are not coming with family/friends, we suggest you select a roommate to share the cost (but that is up to you!) Only one of you should make a reservation.
If you need assistance in identifying a possible roommate, you can indicate this request when you register for the retreat by November 5, and Prince of Peace will share the names of those seeking roommates with those who are also seeking roommates for you to make those connections. We will not assign roommates or be responsible for making roommate matches.
There are a limited number of double rooms available at this rate so please contact the Lodge to make your hotel reservation by December 1. If you prefer to not have a roommate, please register within the block. We cannot guarantee this rate or availability after this December 15.
