This year Prince of Peace is joining with other HTF supporting communities to compete in Hoops for Haiti! The congregation that raises the most amount of money will receive the annual Hoops for Haiti trophy and bragging rights!

Step ONE

Make a donation towards Hoops for Haiti that will foster life-giving impact for Haiti’s poor.

All proceeds will be sent to The Haitian Timoun Foundation.

For each bracket entered we ask for a $25 minimum donation.

Gifts will be given to the Haitian Timoun Foundation to help CENTRE D’EDUCATION INTEGREE  (CEI)

A little bit more about the cause…

CENTRE D’EDUCATION INTEGREE  (CEI) is the only school in LaMontagne for the primary school age children.  We need help to RAISE THE ROOF, providing CEI the ability to add more classrooms.  In Haiti,

 -       Children are not able to go to school because of poverty, inequality, and safety. 

-       CEI needs to build 3 more classrooms to offer an opportunity for those children to have a chance to go to school. With the limited capacity (154) to receive students, CEI is unable to respond to the high demand of students coming from different cities (Port-au-Prince, carrefours, Gressier Croix-des-bouquets, Dominican Republic) due to gang activity.  They are fleeing from the violence to places like Jacmel.
