The Gift of Meaningful Connection. We’ve grown weary of the holiday preparation and advertising campaigns that start earlier and earlier each year. Something tells us that we’ve missed it — whatever it is, our soul aches for something more. But it’s not spending more. It’s about giving more of ourselves in the relationships we have with others.

First, look to your relationship with God and his only Son, his gift to us a long time ago, in worship and reflection. Then spend time with others. What’s more important? Standing in line at Target to get those last gifts for the teachers and hairdresser, or giving them a batch of cookies you and the children baked together? You can touch all of them with something personal to make the holidays a little better.
